With the conclusion of the 2023-24 NCAA FBS College Football season, Turbo Images reflects upon another year of delivering stunning vehicle graphics for player transport. For the past 10 years, we have been one of the top companies for wrapping buses for major college football events. This season was no different, as Turbo Images successfully wrapped a total of 22 buses for four bowl games and 10 buses for the highly anticipated College Football Playoff (CFP)
Championship game—between the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies. Let's dive into the highlights of this season's projects.
Many of these projects were designed by Turbo Studio, an expert in large-format branding. This also marks their tenth year of collaboration with the athletic programs and the college football bowl hosts. In the college football industry, they have become known as the ‘go-to’ expert for designing the team bus wraps each bowl season. The studio said, “After this many years of designing for bowl games, we now have this down to a science. We might need a little more coffee during what we call ‘bowl week’, but we love it!”
The close partnership between Turbo Images & Turbo Studio allows for a turnkey solution. Turbo Studio focuses on the design and development part, while Turbo Images then produces and installs the team bus wraps, all within a quick turnaround time. Typically, it’s just a few days from team selection to the completion of the final design, then the production and installation happens just as quickly.
Turbo Images kicked off the season by wrapping two buses for the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl between Iowa and Tennessee. Turbo Studio designed the bus wraps for the event.
Next on the list was the Pop-Tarts Bowl showdown between Kansas State and North Carolina State. Turbo Images showcased our ability to flawlessly execute in a time crunch once again by wrapping two buses with eye-catching graphics, also designed by Turbo Studio.
For the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl matchup between Penn State and Ole Miss, Turbo Images quickly transformed regular coaches into team branded units for player transportation. Turbo Studio designed the bus wraps for the event, which we then printed and installed on 8 coaches provided by our good friends at Champion Coach Champion Coach, who witnessed our team in action, praised Turbo Images' work:
“Everything was seamless and ran like a wheel-oiled machine. Juan and Sharon are the best in the business. I highly recommend Turbo Images for your next project”. - Craig Dance Founder &
President of Champion Coach
The Rose Bowl, one of the a New Year’s Six bowls, was the host of the 2023-24 CFP Semi-Final. Turbo Images wrapped ten buses for the Michigan vs. Alabama semi-final matchup. This time, the credit for the designs goes to Sightlines Productions.
As the season reached its climax with the CFP championship game between Washington and Michigan, Turbo Images continued to make their mark. Ten buses, with designs by Elevate Sports Ventures, were expertly wrapped to represent the two competing teams in just 48 hours.
In total, this season's projects required the coordination of 30 installers from across North America. Putting in over 900 hours of installation work, these skilled professionals tackled these time-sensitive projects in four states and five different cities to ensure the players and their staff
travelled in style.
Turbo Images & Turbo Studio can proudly look back on a season filled with remarkable success, showcasing their ability to transform vehicles into powerful tools to promote sport events and highlight the teams. As we continue to leave our mark in the realm of sport branding, we look forward to many more seasons of collaboration with these and other partners in collegiate sports.
